But the midtier model underperformed compared to the company’s earlier iPhone SE launches and may face headwinds from internal competition and economic pressures.Launched at the end of February 2025, the iPhone 16e was the ninth best-selling smartphone in Europe in March, according to data from Counterpoint Research. Apple appeals against EU mandate that it freely share its technology

Now as first spotted by Axios, the company’s official appeal filing against the EU’s fine repeats the points, and in particular stresses how other firms are set to exploit the ruling.”These requirements will also hand data-hungry companies sensitive information, which poses massive privacy and security risks to our EU users,” an Apple spokesperson said. Siri Chatbot prototype nears ChatGPT quality, but hallucinates more than Apple wants
